Spiritual Awakening

The first time I worshiped at Passion City Church (Atlanta, Georgia) in 2009, it was surreal to me. I thought it was because one of my favorite musicians was leading worship. But as time went by, the Lord began to speak to my spirit about what was really happening. Sitting in a sea of college aged kids, I was fixated on one word: REVIVAL. I could see the beginnings of a true spiritual awakening.

Several years later, on June 25, 2011, I had a dream in my sleep about Passion City Church. The message of my dream confirmed to me that what I had been sensing was truly from God.

I began to envision a true movement of God similar to the stories in the book of Acts. I envisioned people getting healed of diseases, the blind getting their vision back, and most importantly I envisioned people weeping in repentance.

It’s been eighteen months since I had the dream in my sleep and over three years since I first visited Passion City Church. With expectation for a great awakening, I have continued to pray for a major Jesus movement to begin there.

Tonight, the Passion 2013 conference began at the Georgia Dome. As my daughter was leaving today to attend the conference, I felt strongly in my spirit that at this event there will be multitudes of people healed, delivered, and touched by Jesus.

As I was watching the live web stream from home, I just sat in awe. I believe this week that Jesus is going to rock the Dome. People will be set free. And I believe this move of God will ignite a movement that will lead to a great awakening in the Church.

Hidden in Christ

There is a fierce battle raging around us. I believe the battle is more intense at this present time than it ever has been because we are living in the "Last Days." There are souls that need to be saved before the return of Christ. In Ephesians 6:12, it tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers and principalities that want to thwart God's perfect plan.

I have discovered that the safest place to be during the intense battle is in my secret hiding place with Jesus.

Victory comes to those who are completely hidden in Christ.

It's a hard message to receive, but when we have sin in our hearts, it's impossible to hide in Christ. Even the slightest amount of resentment or pride will open up the door in our hearts for darkness.

Light and darkness cannot be in the same room. It's either dark when the lights are off or it becomes light when the light has been turned on.

There is no in between place of hiding in Christ. The days are over for lukewarm Christianity. A person must be completely surrendered to Christ or the powers and principalities will take them over during these dark days for our world.

I pray that every person that reads this will come enter into the light of Christ and live abundantly, live fully hidden in His love.

Our Wonderful Jesus,

I thank You for Your marvelous love and for Your light that floods out all darkness. I praise You for what you are doing on this earth. I lift up the body of Christ to You today. I pray that each one who calls himself a Christian will truly submit his heart to You. I pray that each believer will be drawn to Your goodness and grace. I pray that Your Spirit will permeate the churches in this country. Jesus, Let Your light snuff out all the darkness that has tried to invade the Church. Jesus, we need true revival to come to every heart. Revive the hearts of Your people, Jesus. Help the Church stand strong and make a bold statement for the world to see. Let us be a strong and mighty people who brings light to the world. Jesus, our country needs You desperately. Come and rescue our cities with a great move of Your Spirit. Send Your anointing power like never before. Prepare the hearts of the people to receive the outpouring that You're about to release. Jesus, I'm waiting with great expectation for the work You are going to do. Thank You for Your perfect love and for rebuilding my home, my city, and my country. I love You, Jesus, with all my heart. Amen.

A Mighty Outpouring

My Amazing Jesus,

Thank You for Your unfailing love, for the way You continually pour out Your mercy and grace. Thank You for the way You gently show me the things in my heart, in myself that are not good. Jesus, thank You for purifying my heart, for removing every thing that hinders me from walking closely with You. Thank You for what You are doing in the body of Christ. Oh how beautiful it is! I feel it in my spirit: Revival is about to break out in a big way in the body of believers here in the Atlanta area. Keep pouring Your Spirit into the hearts of the people who are fully seeking You. Jesus, we (the body of Christ) want more of You. We want You to work in and through us in unimaginable ways. We want thousands upon thousands to be saved in our city due to the massive outpouring of Your Spirit, Jesus. I am waiting for You with great expectation to do mighty things in the churches in my area. I have visions of people falling at Your feet, weeping in repentance, craving Your love, wanting more of You. Jesus, show the world who You are. Show them Your radical love. Speak to the hearts of all the people who call You, "Lord." Let each of them come to know You deeply and intimately. Raise us up to be the Church You want for us to be. Jesus, make us ready for Your return, without a blemish or stain. Let us be a Church who loves You fully and loves each other perfectly. Let each follower of You be so focused on You that they would not look to each other, but only to You. Let Your perfect unity and love rule in the hearts of all Your followers. I am ready to see You do great and marvelous things in my city. I love You, Jesus, with all my heart. Amen.

As you keep seeking Me and calling on Me, I will pour out My Spirit on your city. It will be like nothing you have ever seen before. Keep seeking. Keep asking. Keep chasing after Me with all of Your heart. My Glory will be revealed in the lives of those fully surrendered to Me.

My Beloved Jesus,

Thank You for what You are doing in my church and other churches around America. The atmosphere is changing in my church and I see that revival has begun. People are turning to You in their brokenness and it is a beautiful thing to watch. Jesus, pour Your Spirit onto my church and the other congregations in Atlanta. Let us be a forerunner in the reviving of America. Let the flames of Your Spirit consume our hearts. Let all the people who come to our churches sense Your Presence and Your love. Make us a strong group of people, fully awakened by Your Spirit. Purify the hearts of Your people, O’ Lord. Make us ready for Your return. Oh how I love You, Jesus. Amen.

I am pouring My Spirit on those that are seeking Me with all of their hearts. I will anoint those who humble themselves completely.
